What is Yoga Therapy?

   Yoga Therapy is a safe, affordable and evidence based therapeutic treatment for health conditions such as: mental health, chronic pain, stress and illness.

About YOGIC Therapy

Therapy sessions start by establishing a baseline. From there, an adaptive therapeutic plan is developed based on your individual needs, and improvements are tracked to help ensure you meet your goals.


 Our yoga therapists, educated in the Himalayan tradition of yoga from schools in New York, USA and Rishikesh, India, have over 800 hours in yoga therapy training, are credentialed RYT500s with Yoga Alliance, and IAYT Certification candidates. They have taught in studios, corporations, major hospitals, resorts, online and privately for over 5 years, assisted with rehabilitation therapies for over 10 years, and look forward to learning more about how to best support you.


In person therapy is offered at the YOGIC private studio, clinic or oceanfront. Mats, bolsters and blankets are provided.

Yoga Therapy Example Sessions

 These sessions use movement with the breath to improve multisystem strength and flexibility. We begin by assessing your current range of motion, work through physical and breathing exercises designed to increase functionality, and close out with a kriya for mental focus and concentration.

These sessions use techniques to improve relaxation and decrease stress. Starting with a baseline assessment focused on tension points, we work through the Bartenieff Fundamentals before closing with breathwork and healing meditations.

These sessions include integration of ayurvedic recommendations based on personality type. We focus primarily on nutrition and lifestyles customized to your own personal goals.
